Our services encompass a wide range of tax needs including Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services. In the role of Healthcare Tax Specialist, you will be based in any of our offices including Chicago, Florida, Houston, New Jersey, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Buffalo, NY. You will lead various tax engagements, mentor staff, and build strong relationships with clients. Your primary responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the healthcare services tax team on reviewing and filing tax returns such as Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S. Engaging in various tax consulting special projects. Attending professional webinars and presentations tailored to the healthcare sector. Providing daily tax assistance to healthcare clients. Supporting and coordinating with healthcare audit and consulting teams. Contributing to the growth and development of staff and the healthcare niche practice. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA license, JD, or Masters of Science in Taxation preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience in a public accounting tax department, including leading multiple engagements and managing staff. Outstanding analytical and technical tax abilities. Excellent client service and communication skills with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships. Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Demonstrated leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. The base compensation for this position varies by location. Specific salary ranges for certain locations are as follows: California: $135,000 - $210,000 annually Chicago: $125,000 - $160,000 annually New Jersey: $105,000 - $190,000 annually New York City: $110,000 - $180,000 annually Withum offers a competitive benefits package and a bonus program based on performance.
