Construction Surveillance TechnicianThe Construction Surveillance Technician's primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts.Performance shall include:Assesses, identifies and communicates recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.Follow and enforce customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security RepresentativeShall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces.Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.EducationBachelor's degree is desired and counts towards 4 years of experience. Associates degree counts towards 2 years of experience.Required Experience1 – 2 years related experienceSecurity Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years.Security Clearance:Must have a TS/SCI clearance to start and be willing and able to obtain up to a TS/SCI with CI polygraph.The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $74,980. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40Travel Required: 10-25%Work Location: USA NM Albuquerque
