Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for an Operating Room RN!

Job Description:
- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00); Day 3x12-Hour (10:30 - 23:00)
- Call: Estimated 70-90 hours in a 6-week period
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
- Total Staffed Beds: 212
- Scrub Color: Navy blue for RNs; Provided for L&D/OR
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: Free parking available!

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care in the Operating Room
- Float between Main OR and Outpatient Surgery Center as needed
- Collaborate with a diverse interdisciplinary team including:
- Physical Therapy
- Respiratory Services
- Radiology
- Pharmacy
- Transportation

Experience & Skills Required:
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years (3 years preferred)
- Certifications:
- ACLS (preferred)
- BCLS
- Required Skills Include:
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair
- Hysterectomy (Abdominal/Vaginal)
- Amputations, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy
- Spinal Fusion and other relevant surgical procedures
- Proficiency with Endoscopic procedures and robotic surgeries (Da Vinci Xi)

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- Main OR with 6 surgical suites dedicated to various specialties:
- ENT, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedic, Urology, Vascular
- Open-heart surgeries performed in one dedicated suite

Shift Details:
- Weekend/Holiday Call: Required as per staffing needs
- Refusal to float may impact contract terms.

Additional Information:
- Must include RTO at time of submission.
- Reference two individuals covering the last year of experience.
