Job Description
Title: NICU RN - Level 4 NICU

Schedule:
- Shift length: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend requirement: 12 weekend shifts per contract

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 10 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements:
- 2 years of NICU experience at Level 4
- Current license
- Certifications: BCLS/BLS, NRP
- EMR: Cerner
- Clinical skills:
- Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP)
- High Frequency Ventilation (conventional, oscillating, high frequency jet)
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- IV vasopressors
- Management of respiratory distress syndrome

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to neonates and infants in a Level 4 NICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient status, making appropriate adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage complex medical equipment and specialized therapies as required.
- Educate families regarding patient care and support in the NICU environment.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Drug screen: required within 30 days of start
- Max 7 days RTO preferred; no RTO first 7 days or on last day of contract; 1 pre-approved time-off allowed
- Scrub color: Black
