With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are committed to delivering solutions that exceed expectations and set new standards for performance and reliability.THE WORKThe selected candidate will be responsible for:• Analyzing and interpreting electrical, electromechanical, and cable schematics during development and production stages• Updating and creating assembly work instructions for efficient assembly based on the drawings and/or models• Publishing work instructions to the production floor for use• Identifying and maintaining tool lists required for the efficient assembly of the given products. • Investigating technical problems and providing guidance to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing failures and helping to implement corrective actions• Supporting the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the manufacturing process• Providing input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques• Working in close collaboration and guidance of Subject Matter Experts in the implementation of manufacturing functional improvements• Adhering to existing functional process and procedures related to manufacturing engineeringWHO YOU AREAs a meticulous and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer, you take pride in your workmanship. Our mission-driven organization is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world, and we're looking for talented and passionate individuals to help us achieve our goals.#OneLMHotJobsBasic Qualifications:• Awarded Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering• 2 or more years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes• Has the ability to analyze electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams• Must be highly detailed-oriented due to the nature of electrical & electromechanical assemblies• Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelDesired Skills:• 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes• Generates manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, or standard operating procedures• Applies design for manufacturing concepts• Uses ERP/MRP and MES systems• Leads class projects and student organizations• Strong interpersonal skills and is able to work effectively in a team environment• Excellent verbal/written communications skills• Self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results• Multitasks in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives• Detail-oriented to research requirements and ensure all are met• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and technique and experienceClearance Level: NoneOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
