About the Position
Job Title: Surgical ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Surgical ICU experience and at least 2 previous travel assignments License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong Surgical ICU experience (Level II Trauma) Description: Required: RN license BLS certification Strong Surgical ICU experience Preferred: Critical Care Certification Trauma course completion Experience in caring for ICU and post-surgical patients, including Trauma, Vascular, GI, Orthopedic/Neurospine procedures, and General Surgery is essential. Patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedic-spine, and oncology patients. Expectation to work 3 out of 6 weekends per 6-week schedule. Availability for holidays as needed. Float to areas of similar skill set, including other ICUs and Intermediate Care Units, may be required.
