Obstetrician Gynecologist Hospitalist

The Obstetrics & Gynecology Department is in search of a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN Hospitalist to join our team at a prominent hospital in Lower Manhattan. This role will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Reporting to the Site Chief and the Director of Labor and Delivery, the Hospitalist will be responsible for the following:

• Deliver in-house obstetrical physician coverage and oversee clinical care for patients on the labor floor.

• Manage and supervise care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.

• Oversee gynecologic consultations, including those that may require surgical intervention.

• Act as the Attending for Physician Assistants.

• Engage in continuing medical education and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Base Salary Range: $275,000

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess a medical degree, have successfully completed a four-year ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and be either board eligible or board certified in the field. Candidates must also hold or be eligible for a valid New York State Medical License and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and education.
