PROGRAM ANALYST

Job DutiesYou will serve as the subject matter expert on all matters related to Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) programs, policies and resources, ensuring consistency with DoN policies and outcomes supportive of human resource strategies.You will provide oversight and coordination for all DoN DDRP activities, develop and interpret policy, submit the DoN DDRP Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and review, present and justify the DoN DDRP budget.You will prepare replies and respond to inquiries regarding policy formulation and interpretation, program statistical data, status of actions, documented program support, and funding issues.You will develop and interpret policy for DoN DDRP including (but not limited to) drug testing, collections, prevention, education, outreach, and research and analyses.You will formulate DoN DDRP strategic policy recommendations, develop goals and milestones for the accomplishment of new initiatives, and analyze, evaluate and recommend policy, programs and budget in support of DoN DDRP.You will perform programming and budgeting tasks including (but not limited to) developing briefing materials and responses to inquiries, developing issue papers and unfunded requirement submissions, and monitoring the status of DoN DDRP requests.You will develop metrics and establish reporting and oversight requirements to monitor and assess the performance of the Navy and Marine Corps in meeting objectives in the DDRP portfolio.
