Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position involves delivering specialized patient care in a Level III NICU setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
• Shift: Days or Nights, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required to age-appropriate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Pediatric Department
• Additional Information:
  • Unit involves patient care in a 31-bed NICU with a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Utilizes EPIC electronic charting system and Pyxis medication administration system
  • Orientation scheduled Monday through Friday of the first week and Monday through Tuesday of the second week, with 8-hour days; mandatory attendance for all 7 days of orientation required
  • Non-billable orientation hours: 8 hours; clinicians returning within 12 months of last work date are not eligible for non-billable orientation
  • Call off or cancel policy: Up to 24 hours for each 13-week assignment
