What You'll Do:

As an RN in our Pediatric ICU, you will deliver high-quality critical care to critically ill children, perform thorough nursing assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will help stabilize and support pediatric patients and their families during difficult times. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to impact young lives every day.

Required Skills:

• Current New York State RN license
• Certified in BLS and able to recertify
• Minimum of 3 years recent PICU experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
• Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform complex patient assessments independently
• Must pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
• No suspensions or investigations regarding professional licenses or certifications
• Verification of legal right to work in the U.S.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in hospitals of similar or larger size, including trauma centers
• Additional certifications such as PALS or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and some holidays

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
• At least 3 years of recent acute care PICU experience within the last 2 years

Other Requirements:

• Shift Length: 12-hour day shifts
• Availability to start on March 6, 2026
• Willingness to work scheduled weekends and holidays
• Travel considerations only for highly experienced candidates in comparable facilities
