Occupational Therapist - PRN

This PRN Occupational Therapist provides skilled services in an acute care setting, including orthopedic, surgical, oncology, cardiac, and general medical patient care. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, and documenting interventions. Responsibilities Establish and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and discharge goals. Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; recommend specialist referrals as needed. Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring appropriate skill level and competency. Complete accurate documentation according to departmental policies. Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s Degree preferred. Valid Occupational Therapist license. Experience and supervisory experience are not mandatory. Key Attributes Strong communication and teamwork skills.
