Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime: Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Sat 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Sun 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, employee, and vendor entry and exit activity according to site protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate. Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry areas, challenging unfamiliar individuals when appropriate, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
