Registered Nurse (RN)This opportunity involves providing nursing care to patients, particularly those in need of monitoring and support. The role requires experience managing pre-cardiac catheterization and care for patients with ports. The nurse will support patients awaiting inpatient care and may float between various units as needed.Shift Details:Shift: Night - 3x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30)Scheduled shifts include 4 weekends (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays) within a 6-week period, along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays.Potential for block scheduling may be available, but this is not guaranteed.Key Responsibilities:Provide care to patients, ensuring safety and comfort during their stay.Monitor and manage pre-cardiac catheterization procedures.Support patients waiting for admission to inpatient care from the Emergency Department.Assist in observation units as needed to ensure adequate patient coverage.Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.Qualifications:Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience required.Travel experience is required.Active Kentucky or compact nursing license is required at the time of application.Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.Additional Information:Floating between observation units, medical/surgical, and telemetry units may be required.COVID and Flu vaccinations are required, with exceptions available for medical or religious reasons.Dress Code: Scrubs must be navy blue without any agency or brand logos.No cafeteria services available, but a refrigerator and microwave are provided on-site.Free parking available in unrestricted areas.Nail policies stipulate that nails should be less than 1/4" in length, and only natural nails with acceptable polish are permitted for staff in direct patient care.Tattoo and piercing policies prohibit visible nose rings or gauged earrings.Client Details State KY
