Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our growing team in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate and promotional events. This role requires a highly organized individual who can thrive in fast-paced environments and contribute to the seamless delivery of memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and logistics of corporate and promotional events
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure event success
- Support in budgeting, scheduling, and administrative tasks
- Prepare event materials and manage on-site setup and takedown
- Monitor event timelines and ensure adherence to project plans
- Gather feedback and assist in post-event reporting and analysis
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and promotional materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 1+ year of experience in event coordination, administration, or similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required
