Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab Tech) Nexus at Columbia – Columbia, IL 62236 Nexus at Columbia 253 Bradington Drive Columbia, IL 62236 Nexus at Columbia is seeking a compassionate and dependable Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab Tech) to join our therapy team. The Rehab Tech will assist licensed therapists with patient care support, therapy preparation, transportation, and maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, motivated, and passionate about helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities Assist therapists with treatment setup and patient support activities Transport residents to and from therapy sessions safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment areas Clean and sanitize equipment according to infection control standards Assist with administrative and clerical tasks within the therapy department Monitor and support patients during therapeutic activities as directed Maintain professionalism and positive communication with residents, families, and staff Follow all facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely Dependable attendance and positive attitude CPR certification preferred Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Flexible scheduling Career growth opportunities Schedule Full-time or Part-time Day shift Monday–Friday Weekend rotation as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
