Security Technician

United Security is looking for an Experienced Service Technician to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, skilled technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience servicing commercial electronic security systems. Responsibilities Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and low-voltage systems. Diagnose wiring, hardware, programming, and basic network issues. Perform system testing, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and equipment replacement. Program and configure security equipment as needed. Communicate professionally with customers and clearly document all work performed. Work independently and take ownership of service calls from start to completion. Qualifications 3+ years of electronic security or low-voltage experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with access control, cameras, intrusion, and intercom systems. Basic knowledge of IP networking. Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Ability to use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
