From pipelines to power plants, roadways to reservoirs, schoolyards to security solutions, clients look to TRC for breakthrough thinking backed by the innovative follow-through of an industry leader.We recognize that the expertise of our staff is our strongest asset, so we generously reward employees for successful performance and invest in their careers through training and the development of new skills and certifications.ResponsibilitiesIt is expected the senior pipeline engineer will have experience in the following areas:Oil & Gas industry engineering design, procurement, and constructionDOT Class Location determinations for pipelinesPipeline fluid flow rate and volume calculationsWall thickness calculations and all relevant variables for cost effective pipe selectionBuoyancy control for pipeline installationDirectional drill design and other crossing methods for pipelinesPipeline right-of-way requirements and mitigation of barriers for acquisitionDemonstrated awareness of safety in the design, construction, and operation of pipelinesDevelopment of pipeline alignment sheets with drafting support personnelDevelopment of project scopes, execution plans, cost estimates, and project schedulesDemonstrated mastery of word documents and spreadsheetsMaster of regulatory codes (B31.4; B31.8) and recommended practices for pipeline designPreparation of equipment specifications and data sheet creationDevelopment of field procedures for pipeline construction, purging, packing, dehydratingPipeline internal inspection, anomaly repairs, and pipeline integrity managementDemonstrated awareness of surveying, environmental issues for permitting and constructionKnowledge of drawing requirements for station layouts, piping plans, PFD's and P&ID'sKnowledge of compressors, pumps, motors, metering, fluid storage and pipingAssociation and knowledge of automation systemsEPC projects as well as smaller manage and maintain projectsPreparation of RFQ's, construction bid documents, and bid evaluationsConstruction scheduling, cost monitoring, management, and general project controlQualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or applied science "Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Pipeline Engineer" from an EAC/ABET approved college or university.PE License and the ability to become licensed in multiple states is desiredRequired 10 years' experience in US pipelines.Requires good verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to clearly communicate to other team members and client personnel.Must be able to write clearly and concisely to prepare reports, specifications and correspondence.Mathematical skills that are required for completion of a Bachelor's degree in engineering.Able to identify problems and seek solutions from more experienced engineers or Subject Matter Experts.Proficient in PC operation, including spreadsheet and word processing programs.Strong attention to details.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to work flexible hours, occasionally in excess of a normal 8 hour schedule.Ability to travel as dictated by project requirements.A basic understanding of CADDBenefits: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance.401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match.Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year).All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.Salary Range: USD $68,328.00 - USD $136,011.20 /Yr.
