The ideal candidate will provide nursing care to patients through collaborative efforts with health team members while adhering to standards of care and practice. Job Quick Facts Ref#: 353-02 Requirements Must have at least 1 year of corrections experience Open to both local and out-of-state nurses Responsibilities Participates in the screening, evaluation, and care of inmates while under the supervision of a physician and/or registered nurse. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments. Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained. Coordinate with other medical and ancillary personnel, as required, to ensure continuity of care. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' condition.
