Role OverviewAs a GRC Research Analyst, you will contribute to the development and delivery of research and advisory services in governance, risk, compliance and cybersecurity technologies. You will support thought leadership, develop client relationships and contribute to shaping market insight within the global GRC landscape. Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and delivery of research and advisory services across governance, risk, compliance and cybersecurity technologiesSupport Research Directors in conducting and authoring research including market analysis, rankings and bespoke reportsBuild and develop trusted relationships with GRC vendors and end‑usersEngage with business development teams to support new memberships and advisory opportunitiesDeliver and support market presentations, briefings and conference participationMonitor regulatory developments and market trends through research and industry engagementCollaborate across Risk Global brands to share expertise and support business growthParticipate in internal research discussions and contribute to shaping research agendasSupport advisory and consulting engagements, including tailored client deliverablesContribute to thought leadership content and research outputsSupport research operations and infrastructure improvementsCoach and support other research team members where requiredRequirementsRequired Skills and Experience2–3 years of experience in governance, risk, compliance or related technology and servicesBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience (Master’s degree is a plus)Demonstrable knowledge of GRC technologies and solutionsUnderstanding of global regulatory frameworks and compliance requirementsStrong analytical and research capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts clearlyStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly ExcelAbility to manage multiple projects and work in a fast‑paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills with ability to build professional relationshipsEvidence of intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge ideas and contribute to thought leadershipPreferred SkillsExperience with data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g. R, Python, SPSS)Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI or similar platformsExperience using AI tools for research content developmentExperience within financial services, RiskTech or RegTech environmentsExperience producing analytical, scientific or business reportsStrong creative thinking and ability to work collaboratively across teamsBenefitsWe know great people make great companies.
