PAY: $16.00 per hour

HOURS: Monday - Friday | Up to 29 hours per week

Afternoon Program: 1:30PM - 6:30PM

SCHEDULE: Flexible scheduling options available

Healthy Kids Programs is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Learning Staff to join our team at Taconic Hills Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year .

As Early Childhood Learning Staff, you'll work alongside our early childhood team to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 18 months through 5 years old . You'll support classroom activities, daily routines, learning experiences, and positive interactions that help young children learn, grow, and thrive.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the School-Age Childcare Lead to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum , tailored to the unique needs and interests of the children.
• Maintaining regular communication with parents and family members through the Playground App , ensuring transparency and engagement in their child's daily experiences.
• Cultivating positive adult-child interactions utilizing the CLASS method , fostering an environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Supporting the education, health, welfare, and safety of classroom members and the entire center community by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols .

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
