Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions for inpatient orthopedic, cardiovascular, and neurologic populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate therapeutic needs.
• Adapt treatment approaches based on patient progress and changing needs.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge home care and rehabilitation exercises.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital acute care, IP Rehab, or SNF settings.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Ability to work varied day shift hours, including one weekend per month.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and team collaboration skills.
• Compassionate with the ability to manage technological resources effectively.
