This role pays$20/hrand is a good fit for someone with hands-on mechanical assembly experience who can use hand and power tools, follow drawings or work instructions, and build parts accurately. This is a manufacturing/warehouse setting with heat exposure. Candidates must be comfortable working around equipment, standing through the shift, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed. Job Highlights $20/hr 1st shift schedule Temp-to-hire opportunity Sugar Land, TX location Hands-on mechanical assembly work Uses hand tools, power tools, drawings, and work instructions Hot warehouse/manufacturing environment PPE required, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear What You’ll Do Assemble mechanical parts into finished units or subassemblies Read and follow blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures Use hand tools and power tools to fit, fasten, and align components Take measurements to check proper fit and alignment Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and defects Report damaged parts, material issues, or assembly problems Track basic production quantities, time, or productivity information as required Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and safe What We’re Looking For Mechanical assembly experience required 3–5 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or technical work instructions Experience using standard hand tools and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to perform repetitive work with good hand strength and coordination Experience with large machinery is a plus High school diploma or GED required Physical Requirements Stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch during the shift Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed Push and pull materials as needed Work with fine motor movements and repetitive hand use Work in a manufacturing/warehouse setting with heat exposure Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear Why Apply Weekly pay 1st shift schedule Temp-to-hire opportunity Hands-on assembly work in Sugar Land Good fit for candidates with mechanical assembly, production, or manufacturing experience Apply Now Apply today with LINK Staffing to be considered for thisAssembler - 1st Shift - $20/hropportunity in Sugar Land, TX.
