Senior Business Analyst
InstantServe LLC
- Data Migration Leadership: Lead and facilitate data migration efforts from mainframe environment to a modern SaaS platform, ensuring accuracy, security, and integrity of financial, billing, and tax data.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze current financial, billing, and tax processes, identify gaps, inefficiencies, and dependencies, and propose optimized solutions for integration with the new SaaS solution.
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Work closely with the City of Baltimore stakeholders to capture and document business and technical requirements, including data mapping, transformation rules, workflows, and reporting needs.
- Collaboration with Technical and Business Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators, data analysts, and SaaS vendors to design, test, and deploy the migration solution.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between Baltimore City departments and the project team, facilitating clear communication, status updates, and alignment of expectations.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute testing strategies, including data validation, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews.
- Change Management: Support change management initiatives, including end-user training, documentation of new processes, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new SaaS solution.
