Role Position Title: Customer Service Representative Department/Location: Supply Chain — Niagara Falls, NY (Fused Minerals) Reports to: Sales Manager Job Scope: Provides support to the Customer Service function at the Niagara Falls, NY Fused Minerals site. Works with production and warehouse teams to ensure manufacturing and imports meet customers’ delivery needs. Responsibilities Perform clerical functions to support the sales team and the logistics network, including sales order entry, Bills of Lading, and packing slips. Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate fulfillment. Provide routine customer service-related clerical support. Answer telephone and email inquiries from customers and other stakeholders. Manage the Order-to-Shipment process for a portfolio of customers. Break down Bills of Lading from shipments and match them with order acknowledgments. Initiate resolution of customer complaints. Perform price verification. Assist the team Manager with weekly KPI reports. Support day-to-day logistics activities (outbound, traffic flow, reservation of shipments against items, chartering through customers’ TMS, appointments, carrier quotes, and documentation for the warehouse). Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma; college degree or technical school diploma preferred. 3+ years of experience in customer service, warehousing, and logistics; prior experience in the abrasive market is a plus. Strong computer skills including Google and Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience a plus. Excellent communication skills with customers. Ability to manage multiple tasks and demands; problem resolution and analytical abilities. Ability to follow prescribed processes with minimal supervision. Environment and Travel The role involves office-based work with some travel to meet customers or other parts of the US Supply Chain network.
