Risk Manager

Salary Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. The hiring range is $116,101 - $129,001 annually. Responsibilities Lead and manage our comprehensive risk management program, overseeing liability and property claims, collaborating with insurers, developing safety and loss control programs, conducting reviews of City contracts, managing workers’ compensation, and providing guidance to department leaders and staff on risk management strategies and policy revisions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social sciences, public administration, or a related field and 4 years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Associate degree and 6 years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. High school diploma and 8 years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Preferred certifications: Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
