What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients utilizing the nursing process
• Assess each newborn's condition and develop appropriate care plans
• Effectively delegate tasks and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Educate families and caregivers on neonatal care and post-discharge needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Demonstrate professional responsibility and uphold patient safety standards

What You Need

• Required:
  • Current Louisiana RN license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP)
  • Minimum of 2 years NICU experience
• Preferred:
  • Additional certifications in neonatal or specialty areas
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
