Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Houston, TX at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide 60-minute evaluations and treatments as indicated, supervise discipline-specific therapy services, document care in compliance with regulatory and clinic standards, and participate in professional development and student instruction as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy providing evaluations and 60-minute treatment sessions. Demonstrated ability to perform documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Ability to supervise and delegate to other therapy staff and participate in student education programs. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel or contract physical therapy experience in outpatient settings preferred. Experience with performance improvement initiatives and quality reporting preferred. Assignment Details Schedule: 40 hours per week, structured as 5x8. Caseload expectations include 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
