This role requires expertise in adult critical care settings and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients. Key Responsibilities\n \n Perform respiratory care procedures and assessments for adult and geriatric patients. \n Administer medications via various delivery systems, including aerosol setups and nebulizers. \n Conduct extubation and tracheostomy care, including suctioning and pulmonary hygiene. \n Monitor and manage high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy. \n Provide care using BiPAP and CPAP, including troubleshooting high pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation. \n Document patient care and progress using EPIC software. \n Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. \n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. \n Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. \n Active ACLS and BLS certifications. \n Experience in trauma level 1 care is required. \n Proven proficiency in adult critical care procedures, including extubation and nebulization. \n Ability to float to other units or campuses as needed. \n Shift Details\n Position is primarily night shifts, with a rotation of every other weekend required. Flexibility with scheduling may be needed.
