SHIPPING  CLERK -   METAL FABRICATION SHOP

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a  Shipping  Clerk - Metal Fabrication Shop for a metal fabrication shop in Ringgold, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate inventory records, proper packaging, and timely delivery.

This is a full-time temporary to hire position.

Pay rate  

$17.00 per hour 

Schedule and Hours  

6:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, overtime Fridays 

Shipping  Clerk - Metal Fabrication Shop   Duties and Responsibilities

• Pack, seal, and label custom sheet metal parts for safe transit.

• Use shipping software, email, and simple spreadsheets to track all product.

• Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material using computer system and spreadsheets

• Assist with inventory tracking of material received and stored

• Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy stacks of metal

Shipping  Clerk -- Metal Fabrication Shop   Qualifications and Requirements

• 1 to 3 years in a warehouse or manufacturing role

• Solid computer knowledge for data entry and inventory

•  Read a tape measure to 1/16 th (tape measure test will be administered)

• Forklift experience is required

• Lift 50lbs throughout workday (in office assessment will be conducted)
