Operational Technology Security Architect

Talascend is currently seeking an Operational Technology Security Architect for a contract opportunity with our client in Lake Forest, Illinois. Overview The role involves designing and governing enterprise-wide security frameworks for operational technology assets, translating business objectives into a comprehensive OT security architecture, and ensuring compliance and risk management across the organization. Responsibilities Define and govern the enterprise-wide security framework securing OT assets Translate business objectives into standards-based OT security architecture Lead OT risk assessments, gap analyses, and develop security roadmaps Assess existing security technologies and evaluate new options Establish governance frameworks and oversee compliance Act as liaison between OT operations, IT security, engineering, and senior leadership Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with minimum 5 years in OT security Strong understanding of secure remote access, network segmentation, OT network monitoring, cloud integration, and threat modeling Preferred Qualifications Experience with security architectures and frameworks like IEC/ISA 62443 Background Check and Drug Screen may be required. Pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
