Every day, art comes alive in the Museum's galleries and through its exhibitions and events, revealing both new ideas and unexpected connections across time and across cultures.GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:As the Marketing Coordinator, you will coordinate marketing for institutional, exhibition, and program-related marketing efforts with a primary focus on Met Live Arts programs including copywriting, editing, and asset and website production, among other activities. You will be responsible for all marketing materials and strategy for Met Live Arts programming, including materials such as digital programs, event web pages, signage, and print materials such as postcards or direct mail. You will foster regular and collaborative communication with colleagues in Met Live Arts, Education, Communications, Digital, Visitor Experience, and the Front of House team. You will report to the Senior Manager of Marketing.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Assemble all Met Live Arts event information, checking dates, times, and venues, confirming artist details with Met Live Arts Production Manager, and proofing exhibition/gallery information.Write and edit all Met Live Arts program materials (performance program, email newsletter, donor communications, digital advertising, print materials, signs) with an eye toward audience appeal and ticket sales.Work with the Marketing team to develop, design, and produce communications to current Met Live Arts audiences and prospective buyers and suggest potential growth opportunitiesOversee publication and distribution of performance videos on the Met's digital channels.Manage all web content for Met Live Arts, ensuring updates are reflected across all platforms and stakeholders are informed.Serve as point person with third party partners, co-producers, and funders as it relates to promotion and marketing of Met Live Arts events.Oversee internal communications with Met colleagues around performances and their impact on operations and visitors.Maintain performance photo archives.Coordinate with the Box Office to receive and report weekly ticket sales, tracking sales projections versus actuals and developing new strategies based on sales goals.Manage strategy and content production for the Met Live Arts Instagram account in collaboration with the Social Media and Met Live Arts teams.Support Marketing colleagues with copywriting and editing for institutional Met programs, events, signage, print materials, emails and more.Support Marketing colleagues in institutional website production for the homepage, Visit and Exhibition pages, Date Night web pages, and other areas of the site.Support Marketing colleagues and Social Media team in event production (e.g. creator events, receptions).Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as Adobe. InDesign and video editing capabilities a plus.High level of comfort with digital platform, databases and digital editing tools.Two years' related production experience strongly preferred.Strong writing and editing skills.Must demonstrate high level of interest performing and visual arts.Must be highly organized, flexible, and able to balance multiple competing demands.COMPENSATION RANGE:Pay Rate: $35.00 - $38.50 / HourlyThe advertised pay scale reflects the good faith minimum and maximum salary range for this role.
