Operations Finance Director 
Location: Franklin, WI.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday

Overview
You will oversee the financial management of our operational processes, ensuring accurate cost analysis, effective inventory management, and insightful reporting. Your leadership will enable us to optimize costs, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve our growth and profitability goals. Collaborating closely with production, supply chain, and leadership, you’ll bring financial clarity and strategic insight to key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure daily closing of production work orders for accurate cost tracking
• Analyze product costs, evaluate standard costs, and identify variances to support process improvements
• Prepare and review month-end journal entries related to inventory, labor, materials, and overhead costs
• Manage inventory valuations, aged profiles, and the creation/maintenance of Bill of Material/Cost Cards
• Analyze operational KPIs, reports, and capital projects to drive efficiency and ROI
• Lead brokerage commission reporting, contracts, and related analytics
• Oversee inventory management programs, cycle counting, and physical audits
• Support procurement strategies through category analysis of ingredients and spend reports
• Build and execute forecasts and annual plans aligned with sales goals
• Mentor, train, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of partnership and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across departments—sales, supply chain, production, HR—to deliver profitable growth
• Represent finance in leadership meetings and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience in operational finance, cost analysis, or related roles
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and KPIs
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring a finance team
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate clearly across organizational levels
• Knowledge of inventory valuation, product costing, and financial month-end closing processes

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with capital project analysis or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with procurement or supply chain operations
