Systems Administrator - Pompano Beach, FLDuration: 9 Months, OnsitePosition Summary:Seeking for a Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting daily operations and maintenance of server, storage, and basic network systems. This role involves troubleshooting connectivity issues, monitoring network health, and supporting core network services such as DNS and DHCP. The position also includes administration of virtualized environments, maintaining backup and recovery systems, applying system patches, and contributing to documentation efforts.Duties and Responsibilities:Participate in team projects and assignments to support infrastructure initiatives.Configure and administer virtual servers in VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.Assist with patching and system updates to maintain system health.Maintain and verify backup systems; participate in disaster recovery testing.Manage users and groups using Active Directory and Group Policy.Configure and maintain core services such as DNS, DHCP, and Certificates.Perform basic network troubleshooting and assist with network equipment documentation.Monitor network and system health using departmental tools.Support the setup and deployment of infrastructure equipment.Document technical procedures and system configurations.Ensure accurate incident tracking and asset management.Travel to remote locations for equipment deployment and support.Participate in after-hours work and on-call rotation.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in a technical support, help desk, or junior systems administration role.Familiarity with ticketing systems, documentation practices, and basic networking is preferred.Education:Bachelor's Degree or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Information Systems or related fields or equivalent work experience.Preferred Certifications:CompTIA ACompTIA NetworkCompTIA SecurityAzure Fundamentals
