Cone Health - 1121 North Church Street - Responsibilities: The Cook prepares, cooks, and bakes the food that is served for the café, tray line, and dining room following the chef's exact specifications.; Working under general supervision, this role also complies with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures in order to ensure a sanitary food preparation environment.; Calculates the necessary quantities of recipe ingredients in order to ensure that production is correct and meets basic needs and ensure that the food is attractively arranged on the plates.; Follows established procedures for the storage of food, supplies, and equipment in order to comply with sanitation and safety standards.; Follows standard recipes and utilizes specified preparation techniques so as to comply with diet requirements and, when needed, provide a compliant food substitution where necessary.
