Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, KS. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions across various acuity levels. Daily responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient status, documenting care in the electronic health record, and coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, evidence-based care. The nurse educates patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care, while promoting health, safety, and comfort. The role also involves adherence to clinical protocols, participation in quality improvement activities, and support of a culture focused on patient-centered outcomes. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas (or eligibility for licensure) and graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN preferred). Demonstrated clinical assessment, critical thinking, and care planning skills, including the ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition. Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and use of clinical equipment, with strong attention to safety and infection control practices. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Competence in electronic health record documentation, basic computer skills, and ability to follow evidence-based policies and procedures. Strong organizational and time management abilities, including prioritization of multiple patients and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to patient-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and respect for all individuals. BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or other specialty certifications preferred depending on clinical area; prior hospital or acute care experience is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
