Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable and hardworking Fabrication Shop Helpers to join a growing manufacturing team in Claremore. This position supports fabricators, welders, and machine operators by preparing materials, maintaining organized work areas, and assisting with daily production activities.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and eager to learn fabrication processes while contributing to a productive team environment.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read a tape measure preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist fabricators, welders, and machine operators with material preparation and assembly
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the fabrication shop
• Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other basic shop equipment safely
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to production specifications
• Organize inventory and stage materials for production
• Assist with packaging and preparing completed products for shipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations and shop areas
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Perform additional general labor and production duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous fabrication or manufacturing shop experience
• Forklift operating experience
• Experience working around welding or machining operations
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment while wearing required PPE
• Comfortable working around fabrication equipment, heavy materials, and industrial machinery

• Heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility
