Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection and retrofit to existing structural members.The Painter/Load is responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIESPrep and paint structural steel.Operate forklift as needed.Perform rigging work to move materials as requires.Load and unload steel from trucks.Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop.REQUIREMENTS Must have experience with overhead cranes.Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint is a plus.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.Works in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.Must be flexible to work any schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed.Basic math skills are required.Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment.Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a participant in the Federal E-Verify Program.
