Physician - Geriatric Primary Care

Schedule options include part-time, full-time, part-time to full-time, with a minimum of 12 hours per week. Shifts are available from 8-hour and 4-hour options, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, evenings, or holidays.

Full-time compensation ranges from $190,000 to $220,000 annual income, including a guaranteed base salary, productivity-based bonuses, partnership track, malpractice insurance, a retirement plan with match, and a full package that is negotiable.

Locations are in Rockville and Gaithersburg, Maryland.

This private practice, established in 2013, employs an interdisciplinary team of physicians, behavioral health professionals, and nutrition professionals, along with a robust support staff. The practice provides a full scope of internal medicine and geriatric primary care services in various settings and locations.

This geriatric primary care role involves taking care of patients in place. The practice sees patients in assisted living facilities and private homes, with most patients located in ALFs. The new physician will be scheduled at one building per day, with occasional nearby private home visits, ensuring little-to-no travel. All patients are located in Rockville and Gaithersburg. Physicians see between 8 and 18 patients per day, depending on types of visits scheduled and patient location.

Clinical duties include evaluation and management of geriatric patients, chronic disease management, annual check-ups, and minor illness care. The practice uses the Office Ally EHR.

Requirements include a Maryland medical license, DEA, and board certification or eligibility in the relevant field.
