Part-Time Property Manager – Northfield, MN

• Pay: $22–$26/hour
• Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week
• Job Type: Part-Time
• Location: Northfield, MN

Career Strategies is hiring a Part-Time Property Manager in Northfield, MN! We are looking for a dependable and organized property management professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of an apartment community.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, Community Manager, or Leasing Professional looking for a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the apartment community
• Manage leasing, applications, move-ins, and move-outs
• Build positive relationships with current and prospective residents
• Respond to resident questions, concerns, and service requests
• Process rental applications and maintain accurate resident files
• Collect and track rent payments and follow up on outstanding balances
• Coordinate maintenance requests, apartment turns, and vendor services
• Conduct property and apartment inspections
• Assist with leasing and marketing efforts to maintain occupancy
• Maintain accurate property records and documentation
• Follow Fair Housing regulations and company policies
• Communicate with maintenance staff, vendors, and management
• Affordable housing experience, including LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or Tax Credit, is a plus!

Qualifications

• Previous property management, apartment management, leasing, or community management experience preferred
• Affordable housing experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Property management software experience preferred
• Professional, dependable, and reliable work ethic
• Reliable transportation
