Accounting Manager

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial data to support business decision-making.

THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER WILL:

• Review month-end procedures for completeness and accuracy
• Identify and record monthly adjusting entries
• Compile financial reports and perform the initial financial analysis
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Review and record bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and proper coding in

the accounting system * Review AR and AP aging on a weekly basis and follow up on outstanding items as needed * Review bills entered into NetSuite for proper supporting documentation and initiate payments * Manage company credit card issuance and limits, ensuring appropriate controls are in place * Manage basic banking functions, including checks, ACH, EFT, and other payment methods * Review invoices and payments received and then calculate the Commission for the Sales team on a monthly basis * Review and file Sales tax on a monthly basis. Assist with other regulatory compliance requirements as needed

• Hire, supervise, train, and develop Staff and Senior Accountants
• Review internal processes for documentation and improvement where necessary
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to advise on the financial impact of

project implementations and engage with external entities on behalf of the company

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience

supervising and mentoring staff * In-depth knowledge of GAAP and best practices for financial reporting and analysis

• Proficiency in NetSuite required
• Strong Excel skills; experience with G-Suite preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and leadership
