An established and highly regarded orthopaedic specialty group in the Brandon FL region is seeking a Physician Assistant to support a busy Spine service line. This opportunity offers a unique blend of clinical practice, surgical first-assist responsibilities, and hospital-based patient management, providing exceptional exposure to the full continuum of spine care.

Whether you are an experienced Orthopaedic PA or a recent graduate with specialized orthopaedic training, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside accomplished surgeons in an environment that emphasizes mentorship, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage patients with spine-related conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Partner with physicians to formulate treatment plans and coordinate ongoing care.
• First assist in a variety of spine procedures and surgical cases.
• Conduct hospital rounds, post-operative visits, and new inpatient consultations.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation using electronic medical record systems.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Schedule

• Balanced weekly schedule with clinic and operating room responsibilities.
• Approximately three outpatient clinic days and two surgical days per week.
• Shared call rotation averaging one weekend every two months.
• Occasional holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Board certified through NCCPA.
• Active Florida Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain.
• Orthopaedic or spine experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
• Willingness to travel between clinical locations throughout the greater Tampa Bay area.
