Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Desk in Hutchins TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location you will help monitor access points screen visitors and/or deliveries and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Day Time

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees visitors packages and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report observed conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Monitor entry points shipping and receiving areas and other designated locations for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
