Our clinicians focus on what matters most — helping patients maintain mobility, independence, and overall quality of life where they live.We're currently seeking motivated Occupational Therapists who want the flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships that come with home-based care.If you're looking for a role that offers schedule flexibility, strong earning potential, and the ability to practice independently, Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy could be the right fit for you.With multiple homecare coverage areas available, we work with you to build a caseload in locations that fit your schedule and preferences.All levels of experience are encouraged to apply and will train the right new graduate.Job Type: Per DiemPay: $75-$90 per visitLocation: In and around Long BeachSchedule: Flexible!Why Join Metro Physical Therapy:1099 and W-2 options to fit your preferred work styleCompetitive salaryFlexible scheduling- create your own visit times and see patients any 7 days of the weekOpportunities for professional growthAbility to build meaningful relationships with patientsWork in home and community-based settingsSupportive and collaborative team environmentFocus on Patient Care - Quick EMR (No Oasis required)Great work/life balancePreference given to see patients in your primary geographic areaResponsibilities:Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic areaProvide 1:1 treatmentEvaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needsDeliver care that aligns with professional standards, agency policies, and the prescribed plan of careEducate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniquesPlan, and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function, relieve pain, and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visitEvaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefitMust be willing to treat geriatric patients.QualificationsOccupational Therapist Program GraduateLicensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance.Ability to travel to patients' homes within the assigned geographic territoryStrong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management, including timely responses via text, email, phone, etc.Additional InformationThe anticipated base hourly range for this position is $75-90. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
