What you'll do: Field application * Operate constant flow sprayers, variable rate applicators, and dry spreaders safely and efficiently * Apply pre- and post-emergent chemicals, insecticides, lime, and dry and liquid fertilizers to producer fields * Evaluate product labels to ensure proper application rates and usage * Maneuver sprayer into proper position on producer's land while avoiding damage to property * Prevent chemical spills; clean up any spillage immediately and report issues to supervisor Product loading & coordination * Prepare sprayer for loading and verify product arrives in good condition * Collaborate with commercial truck drivers operating tender trucks to receive chemicals or fertilizers in the field * Activate auto shutoffs, assist connecting
