Auto Glass Technician

Auto Glass Technician for Glass America replaces broken or pitted windshields and other window glass in motor vehicles. Responsibilities Installs auto glass and other auto glass products in‑shop or on a mobile basis. Utilizes proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service. Ensures required paperwork is completed and turned in. Loads glass onto the truck as needed. Immediately follows up with the Glass Manager on any problems that arise in the installation of the glass. Maintains high levels of quality control. Provides excellent customer service. Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy. Ensures all needed equipment is operating properly. Immediately reports any accident or incident to the Glass Manager. Complies with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook. Maintains good rapport with supervisors and co‑workers. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. 4–6 years of related work experience required. Valid driver’s license. At least 18 years of age. Physical ability to stand for long periods, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hands efficiently in handling glass. Mechanical aptitude and skill to operate hand and power tools and equipment.
