Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

This role involves providing direct nursing care and supervising daily nursing activities in a long-term care or assisted living setting, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities Monitor residents' conditions, report changes to healthcare professionals Supervise nursing assistants and coordinate shift activities Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges Document care through accurate charting and nursing notes Administer medications, review medication records, and update care plans Address resident complaints and grievances, ensuring resident rights and dignity Interpret policies to staff, residents, visitors, and authorities Review and revise care plans based on residents' needs Ensure staff adherence to regulations and resident rights Qualifications & Skills Valid, active nursing license (RN or LPN) in Illinois Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to make independent decisions and handle sensitive information Demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, and compassion for seniors Physical ability to lift and move residents safely, including emergency evacuation support #J-18808-Ljbffr MEP Health
