Principal Parks/Facilities Maintenance Worker-CDLThe Montgomery County Department of Parks—Southern Parks Division seeks an experienced, dynamic Principal Parks/Facilities Maintenance Worker-CDL to join the division's Rapid Response Team located in Rockville, MD.Under the direction of a Parks Maintenance Leader, this position maintains parks, trails, athletic fields, and facilities through routine maintenance, repairs, and cleanup. The role responds to safety issues and urgent maintenance needs, operates a variety of equipment and vehicles, supports volunteer and community events, and helps keep parks safe, clean, and welcoming. A Class-A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required and must be obtained within 12 months of hire. The position offers training, growth opportunities, and a primarily day-shift schedule with occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.The Southern Parks Division supports both local and regional recreation across some of the most densely populated areas of Montgomery County.
