Here at Cotswold Animal Hospital, our mission is to provide high quality medicine that is personalized for each patient. We strive to create an environment in which all clients feel at home and comfortable with the decisions they make about their pets' healthcare. We understand that everyone comes from different backgrounds and may have different beliefs, but we all share the common goal of wanting our pets to remain healthy and extend the human-animal bond. Personal Requirements- Enjoys working with people and can stay calm in stressful situations
- Enjoys working with animals and can safely handle them when they are stressed, ill, and injured
- Is well spoken, and approaches job duties in a professional manner
- Is experienced in team settings, willing to lead and give direction to others, but follow when needed.
- Works well with all team members
- Time management and willing to work independently
- Compassion and empathy for our clients and other team members
Job Requirements (included but not limited to)
- DVM or equivalent in good standing
- State license in NC
- Compassionate care of our patients and their owners
- Good client communication and education
- Proper animal handling and restraint
- Wellness and preventative care
- Perform anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures with skill and efficiency
- Radiology/dental radiology interpretation
- Good record keeping and time management
- Perform euthanasia
- Pharmacy and inventory management
