As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will use communication and customer service skills while documenting security-related information and responding to incidents. Pay Rate: $19.73 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
