Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianPerforms general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance for residential properties and grounds. Works independently and as part of a team to maintain safe, clean, and functional living environments while providing excellent customer service to residents.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, doors, windows, and locks.Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.Inspect buildings, apartments, common areas, and grounds to identify maintenance needs.Prepare vacant units for new occupancy.Assist with HVAC system maintenance and repairs.Repair and maintain household appliances and building equipment.Maintain tools, equipment, storage areas, and workspaces.Perform grounds maintenance, trash removal, snow removal, and ice mitigation.Operate company vehicles to transport supplies and materials.Participate in emergency on-call maintenance as needed.Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.QualificationsExperience in residential, apartment, or building maintenance.Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.Valid driver's license.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical labor.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
